In short, the Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), launched in 2018 helps parties in the digital advertising industry to comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Strossle joins the list of registered TCF vendors, so what does that mean?

Honestly, not much. We've been quietly developing non-intrusive advertising based on context rather than personal data for years. Being a registered vendor simply brings more transparency to how we handle data and makes it easier for our publishing and advertiser partners to integrate our products.

IAB Europe, the industry's trade organization behind the TCF, provides transparency to consumers about how, and by whom, their personal data is processed. It also enables users to express choices. It is up to every individual vendor to take responsibility and respect those choices.
